Liaoning Grand Theatre Co., Ltd. is located on the east side of Shifu Square in Shenyang City, Liaoning Province. It is affiliated with the Liaoning Provincial Department of Culture and is the largest cultural and artistic venue invested in by Liaoning Province since the founding of the People’s Republic of China. The theatre has a total construction area of 30,000 square meters, with an interior decor that is dignified and elegant. Viewed from above, the exterior shape of the building is inspired by the jade pig-dragon artifact unearthed in western Liaoning, a representative relic of the Hongshan culture. Adjacent to the provincial museum, the theatre enjoys a prime location. Its milky-white structure complements the grandeur of Shifu Square, earning it the reputation of being a shining cultural pearl in Northeast China.

Liaoning Grand Theatre is an international performance venue in the Shenyang–Liaoning region that integrates theatre operations, catering, hotels, conferences, advertising exhibitions, stage engineering, and ticketing services. It has also hosted major performing arts groups and hundreds of renowned artists from China and abroad, such as Broadway musical troupes from the United States, the New York Philharmonic Orchestra, the China National Symphony Orchestra, the China Broadcasting Traditional Orchestra, the China National Opera & Dance Drama Theatre, and the Oriental Song and Dance Ensemble. The “China Northern New Year Concert” and “China Northern New Year Ethnic Music Concert” have become well-known artistic brands. Since 2007, the theatre has held six consecutive editions of the “Liaoning Provincial Excellent Performing Arts (Festival) Season,” bringing a wide range of high-quality performances closer to the public and integrating them into daily life. It has received widespread acclaim and unanimous praise from all sectors of society, making it an annual artistic feast in the Shenyang–Liaoning region and a profound practice of bringing benefits to the people.
