The former site of the Mukden Branch of The Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation (HSBC) UK is a cultural relic protection unit of Liaoning Province.

The former site of the "Mukden Branch of The Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation (HSBC) UK" in Shenyang is located at No. 102, 11th Wei Road, Heping District, Shenyang City, and currently houses the Bank of Communications. On March 20, 2003, it was designated as a provincial-level cultural relic protection unit in Liaoning Province. The branch was established by The Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation (HSBC) UK in Mukden in 1917. The building of the former site of the "Mukden Branch of The Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation (HSBC) UK" in Shenyang was constructed in 1932, designed by the British and built by Chinese construction workers. The building's facilities were relatively modern and complete, making it one of the modern-style buildings in Mukden at that time, commonly known as the "Seven-Section Building," and it remains well-preserved to this day.

Protection Scope: 3 meters east of the outer base of the building’s exterior wall; south to the northern boundary of the red line of 11th Wei Road; west to the eastern boundary of the red line of Beisanjing Street; north to within the outer base of the building’s exterior wall.

Construction Control Zone: Within 12 meters north of the protection scope is designated as a Category IV construction control zone.
