The Dalian Xinghai Convention and Exhibition Center is a large-scale, modern exhibition venue funded and built by the Dalian Municipal People's Government. It integrates multiple functions such as exhibitions, conferences, tourism, and catering, and has become one of the city’s iconic landmarks with its grand presence, perfect design, and excellent facilities.

Located at the northern end of the scenic and elegantly designed Xinghai Bay Business District, the Xinghai Convention and Exhibition Center sits to the east of Lotus Mountain and borders the Yellow Sea to the south. It is just 4.5 km from Dalian Railway Station, 7 km from the seaport, and 5 km from ZhouShuiZi International Airport, offering highly convenient transportation. Covering a land area of 86,000 square meters and a total floor space of 94,000 square meters, the center consists of one basement level and four above-ground floors. With its advanced facilities and luxurious decor, it meets the top standards of modern exhibition venues.

As one of the largest public infrastructure projects since the founding of Dalian, the completion of the Xinghai Convention and Exhibition Center marks an important step in reinforcing the city’s role as a coastal hub and enhancing its overall urban image. It is a concrete embodiment of the city’s development strategy: “Not the biggest, but the best.” The center plays a significant role in expanding international exchanges and boosting economic growth for both Dalian and the broader Northeast China region. With the full establishment and continued development of China’s socialist market economy, the Dalian Xinghai Convention and Exhibition Center will become a key platform for increasingly frequent international trade and business activities. It actively contributes to promoting domestic and international economic and technical cooperation, information exchange, and helps bring Dalian to the world while introducing the world to Dalian.

The exhibitions hosted here are characterized by their large scale, high standard, professionalism, and strong international presence. The density of events has ranked among the top nationwide, with events such as the Dalian Export Commodities Fair and the Dalian International Fashion Fair becoming well-known, large-scale, and widely influential branded exhibitions. Currently, the Xinghai Convention and Exhibition Center is capable of organizing and hosting various domestic and international exhibitions across different fields and scales. It also provides a full range of supporting services including exhibition engineering, conference services, and tourism.

Exhibition Halls: The central lobby is 40 meters high with a floor area of 2,000 square meters. It is magnificent and imposing, featuring excellent acoustics, making it suitable for large-scale celebrations and entertainment events. On either side of the central lobby are indoor exhibition areas, divided into eastern and western sections. The unique "H-shaped" steel structure design allows the exhibition halls to span 50 meters from north to south without any supporting columns. The total exhibition area is 15,000 square meters, which can accommodate 730 standard booths. The entire exhibition zone can also be divided into four smaller exhibition areas as needed. The floor of the exhibition halls can bear loads of 2–5 tons. The outdoor exhibition area covers 6,000 square meters and is suitable for displaying heavy machinery and equipment.

International Conference Area: Located on the second floor, the west wing of the center houses the 7,000-square-meter International Conference Area. It includes meeting rooms of various sizes, VIP rooms, a café, and a multi-functional hall. The conference rooms are equipped with imported six-channel simultaneous interpretation systems and infrared reception systems, meeting diverse needs such as celebrations, banquets, academic conferences, and business negotiations, and providing international-standard services to guests from around the world.

The magnificent multi-functional hall has a floor area of 2,500 square meters and is outfitted with top-tier audio and lighting equipment. It can host meetings for up to 1,800 people, large banquets for 1,300 people, and theatrical performances.
