Attraction Introduction

Xinghai Bay Seaside Bathing Beach is located on the southern coast of the Xinghai Bay International Business Center District in Shahekou District, Dalian, adjacent to Xinghai Square and Xinghai Park. It is the largest artificial seaside bathing beach in China.

The beach of Xinghai Bay Seaside Bathing Beach is approximately 2,000 meters long and consists of three smaller bathing areas. The entire sandy shore is paved with high-quality sand transported from Beidaihe, with a thickness of 3 meters. Breakwaters at both ends of the curved coastline help keep the bay calm and wave-free.

There are three tourist boat piers within Xinghai Bay, from which you can take boats directly to Tiger Beach and Bangchui Island. Among the cruise boats, two are designed with transparent bottoms, allowing you to observe the magical and ever-changing underwater world.

Special Tips

1. Xinghai Bay Seaside Bathing Beach is open to the public free of charge and gets very crowded during the summer.

2. Visitors should bring their own swimsuits, as facilities such as changing rooms and sun umbrellas can be rented on the beach.
