Introduction Located near the Friendship Tower in Taiyanggou. The museum began construction on May 12, 2000, with an investment of 23.5 million yuan and a floor area of 5,000 square meters. The indoor exhibits feature a naturalistic design and are divided into eight exhibition areas, including crocodiles, turtles, various snakes, and specimens. It showcases a variety of snakes from Thailand, Australia, Africa, and other regions. There are also land turtles, aquatic turtles, sea turtles from Kazakhstan, Chinese alligators, and giant salamanders. The Lushun Snake Ecology Museum in Dalian ranks first in Asia in terms of snake species, quantity, and scale.
