Hengshan Temple Forest Park covers an area of 450,000 square meters. It is a large-scale Dalian tourist attraction and Buddhist sacred site themed around Buddhist culture, integrating leisure sightseeing, cultural dissemination, life experience, and sports fitness. The forest park centers on Hengshan Temple as its main scenic element, with the story of Guanyin, garden art, ecological landscapes, and leisure tourism facilities as its core content, coming together to form a magnificent earthly paradise and idyllic retreat.

The Hengshan Temple building complex spans 12,000 square meters, making it the largest Guanyin Bodhisattva sanctuary in northern China. Nestled among the nine peaks of Hengshan Mountain, the temple is majestic and resplendent in gold and color. The temple halls enshrine 48 Buddha statues including Sakyamuni Buddha and Vairocana Guanyin, all solemn and benevolent, inspiring reverence. In addition to the temple buildings, the scenic area also features an archway, a vase sculpture, the Mantra Avenue, a liberation pond, a lotus pond, shaded pathways, pavilions, and terraces. On the mountainside, there is also a giant bronze statue of Guanyin and various stone carvings. In recent years, the temple has added amenities such as Hengshan Tea House, Hengshan Noodle Restaurant, and Cishi Library to cater to visitors' needs. Hengshan Temple has become an ideal destination for prayer, sightseeing, leisure, culture, charity, and Zen meditation.
