Longwangtang Park is located on Guoshui West Road in Lushunkou District. The park features the Longwangtang Reservoir and a cherry blossom garden. During the Spring Festival when the cherry blossoms are in bloom, it attracts many visitors who come with their families to admire the flowers.

Longwangtang’s cherry blossoms are famous nationwide, and most of the cherry blossom scenes in domestic films and TV shows are filmed here. In the cherry blossom garden, there is one exceptionally rare Star Magnolia, also known as Star Yulan. The Star Magnolia belongs to the Magnoliaceae family. This particular Star Magnolia was transplanted from Japan and stands at an impressive height of 4 meters. The Longwangtang Cherry Blossom Garden covers an effectively viewable area of 80,000 square meters. Established in 1926, it houses 10 century-old early-blooming Japanese cherry trees and a centenarian Star Magnolia transplanted from Osaka. Visitors can enjoy single-petal cherry blossoms, and the historic Star Magnolia is not only in full bloom during the prime season but also represents a rare variety seldom found in China. Additionally, yellow, white, and purple magnolia flowers, as well as forsythia, are also in full bloom.
