The scenic area covers approximately 120,000 square meters, with a beautiful crescent-shaped coastline stretching 3,000 meters. It is also home to a large wild dolphin sanctuary. In 1980, it was officially designated as the first national nature reserve in Northeast China. Since its government development, it has welcomed about 100,000 local visitors annually. From 2010 to the present, Dalian Shenlong Island Marine Entertainment Co., Ltd. has invested over 50 million yuan in a complete renovation. Building on the original attractions, they have added a hunting ground, Dragon Great Wall, forest zoo, Asia’s 100-meter forest water slide, equestrian performance arena, crocodile performance park, Mongolian-style bonfire party plaza, racetrack, bumper cars, go-karts, children’s playground, seawater bathing beach, tide-catching area, fishing zone, self-service barbecue area, premium shopping mall, restaurants, a 360° panoramic sea-view hotel, luxury cruise ship dock, and more. They have also launched the long-awaited sea tour routes to Viper Island and Bird Island, along with thrilling equestrian performances, rare performances by little people wrestlers, exotic performances by ladyboy artists, and heart-pounding crocodile taming shows.
