Changtu Beishan Park

Beishan Park is located at the northern end of Changtu urban area, built against Beishan Mountain. It borders Zhanqian Street to the east, Wenhua Street to the west, Beihuan Road to the south, and Yingbin Road to the north, with a planned area of 1.03 square kilometers. It serves as a major leisure, entertainment, and morning exercise spot for local residents. Climbing Beishan offers a panoramic view of the entire Changtu urban landscape. The park features well-preserved vegetation with lush trees, including more than ten main species such as black pine, Korean pine, lacebark pine, juniper, Xinjiang poplar, honey locust, and maple. The park bursts with colorful blooms, featuring key floral varieties like red rose, yellow rose, honeysuckle, forsythia, tree peony, elderberry, marigold, cosmos, portulaca, and sedum. The park is equipped with facilities such as classic-style archways, pavilions, stone tables and benches, and pathways, highlighting a human-centered and culturally integrated design. Recreational offerings include an artificial lake, paddle boats, go-karts, shooting ranges, and a gym. Beishan Park sees peak daily visitor numbers of several thousand and has taken on the early form of a comprehensive urban park.
