Changtai Temple is a cultural tourism attraction.

Changtai Temple is located in the Taiyangshan Scenic Area of Changtu Town, Changtu County. To the south lies the picturesque and shimmering Taiyangshan Lake, while to the north rests the undulating Taiyangshan Mountain. It boasts beautiful natural scenery and excellent transportation access.

Changtai Temple covers an area of 35,000 square meters. At its northernmost end stands a three-story scripture depository, which enshrines the Three Saints of the West. Below that is the Mahavira Hall, housing the Three Buddhas, the Eighteen Arhats, the Guanyin of the Island, Manjushri, Samantabhadra, Ananda, and Kasyapa. Descending the steps leads to the East and West Side Halls, which enshrine Patriarchs and the Guardian Gods. Further down is the Heavenly King Hall, featuring Skanda, Maitreya Buddha, and the Four Heavenly Kings treading on the Eight Demons. To the east and west are the Bell and Drum Towers, which house Ksitigarbha, Guanyin, the Wealth Boy, the Dragon Girl, and the Monks Min and Ming. Below is the Mountain Gate Hall, with the Vajra Protectors and the Two Guardians, followed by the Arhat Hall, which contains Five Hundred Arhats and enshrines Manjushri and Samantabhadra. At the very front is the Memorial Archway.

Changtai Temple holds frequent Buddhist activities and enjoys widespread fame.
