The Ghibli Animation World Exhibition is coming to Taichung. The commemorative set tickets are in high demand.

The “Ghibli Animation World” exhibition received rave reviews at its Taipei stop, drawing over 650,000 fans to visit and pay homage. Next year, the exhibition will relocate to Taichung and Kaohsiung. Showcasing a rich compilation of beloved animations from the acclaimed Studio Ghibli, the “Ghibli Animation World” exhibition will launch limited-edition four-person commemorative ticket sets through the DN Ticketing website. Each set includes four tickets, with each ticket featuring artwork inspired by classic scenes from four iconic animated films. The tickets come beautifully packaged in a premium commemorative ticket holder, perfect for fans to collect as souvenirs.

The exhibition features more than 23 classic scenes from 9 Ghibli animated films, including ‘Castle in the Sky’, ‘My Neighbor Totoro’, ‘Kiki’s Delivery Service’, ‘Porco Rosso’, ‘Pom Poko’, ‘Princess Mononoke’, ‘Spirited Away’, ‘Howl’s Moving Castle’, and ‘Ponyo on the Cliff by the Sea’. In addition, there will be rare original manuscript displays of ‘The Tale of the Princess Kaguya’ being shown in Taiwan for the first time, as well as exclusive exhibition merchandise available only in Taiwan.

Step into the exhibition venue, and all scenes are presented through large-scale three-dimensional dioramas, making you feel as though you’ve stepped right into the world of Ghibli animation. You can wait for the bus alongside life-sized versions of Totoro, Satsuki, and Mei, sit next to No-Face on the train, witness Howl’s Moving Castle actually come to life, join Baron Bomburst from Laputa in rescuing Sheeta, and explore the fantastical bathhouse with Chihiro... Among others. Some exhibits use differently sized three-dimensional displays to recreate the spatial depth and perspective found in the animations, authentically bringing the worlds imagined by Ghibli to life.
