Located in the northeast corner of China, the cultural ancient capital near Russia — Harbin, its annual International Ice and Snow Festival is one of the world’s four major ice and snow festivals, hence also known as the Ice City. With its rich European charm, it is also called the Eastern Moscow, and is one of China’s outstanding tourist cities and a famous historical and cultural city.

The architectural style of Harbin is predominantly Russian and European, making it one of China’s earliest internationalized cities in the 1920s. To this day, Harbin still holds an important position in international trade. Known as the Pearl of Eurasian Connection, it is a key hub of the Eurasian First Land Bridge and the air corridor. In addition to being the central city of Northeast Asia, it has also been recognized by UNESCO as the "City of Music."
