Tainan is not just a food capital, but also Taiwan's cultural ancient city, home to numerous historical sites and temples. Among them is the 350-year-old Fucheng Pujidao Temple — the earliest Wangye (Royal Lord) temple in Taiwan — the Weiling King Chi Fu Qian Sui. In addition to being a local place of worship, it hosts many traditional events each year to strengthen community ties and attract visitors from afar. Its creative lantern exhibition, now in its fifth consecutive year, is larger than ever this year, with over 1,500 lanterns adorning the streets, along with a colorful phoenix-themed main lantern celebrating the Year of the Rooster. The nighttime display is dazzling and spectacular.
