Located on Jiantan Mountain in Taipei City, there are four hiking entrances. After ascending the mountain trail from Yuanshan Scenic Area in Jiantan and following the signs, you’ll discover an old spot known as the Plane-Watching Platform. From here, you can take in the entire cityscape of Taipei, with a vast view that brings the urban center into sight, and you can even watch planes take off and land.
