Rare and spectacular desert scenery — vast sand dunes can be found in Taiwan too

In Keavy’s memory, “Gangzai Desert” used to be a place full of excitement, where visitors could race across the dunes, but this time, her wandering completely changed her perception. Why? Now follow my photographic eye — Let's go～

After leaving Peony Elementary School, which is adorned with colorful rainbows, I continued to drift southward. Along the way, I encountered many water buffaloes, and wherever there were water buffaloes, there were often cattle egrets (also known as yellow-headed egrets)! I really love such scenes — they’re both adorable and innocent.

Sometimes, you don’t need too much of a plan; just having the willingness to go out is enough. Because an unplanned journey is laid-back, yet also full of adventure — it’s spontaneous and unexpected, which is what makes the trip so surprising.

This wandering experience made Keavy fall in love with this place. She had always thought that “Gangzai Desert” was a thrilling spot for dune racing, but unexpectedly, after simply taking a stroll on foot here, her heart became incredibly peaceful.
