The outlying island of Penghu boasts abundant natural resources, surrounded by the sea and featuring unique basalt landscapes, resulting in countless spectacular bays and wonders. This internationally renowned beautiful island has become Taiwan’s Hawaii. Every year from around April to June, the Penghu International Marine Fireworks Festival takes place, which is the most nationally recognized large-scale tourism event of the year. It not only attracts domestic and international tourists, but also inspires many to plan a trip during this period to explore Penghu’s distinctive attractions.

W Dihua Bay, Xiyu – Sanxian Tower
Located in W Dihua Bay of Xiyu, Sanxian Tower offers an unexpectedly stunning view. It exudes a laid-back vibe, and from its vantage point, you can gaze at the endless blue sea stretching out before you. You can also admire the distant islands and the open waters. On a clear day, it feels like you're on a Greek island, and many visitors even liken it to the postcard-perfect Santorini.

Houliau Village, Baisha – Old Donggang Pier
The old Donggang Pier in Houliau Village has become a hidden paradise that seems to stretch deep into the sea. This pier has been abandoned for many years, and unlike typical seaside spots, this secret place winds its way into the center of the sea in a serpentine fashion, sparking endless imagination.

Huxi Kuibi Mountain – Moses Parting the Sea
The Guibi Mountain Geopark in Penghu includes Guibi Mountain and Chi Yu. When the tide recedes, an S-shaped, elongated gravel path is exposed, connecting the two areas. It is a classic tombolo landform, allowing visitors to walk to Chi Yu during low tide.

Southern Four Islands National Park – The Blue Hole
The Southern Four Islands National Park was officially established in 2014 as Taiwan’s ninth national park. It encompasses four islands—Dongjiyu, Xijiyu, Dongyupingyu, and Xiyupingyu—as well as surrounding islets, reefs, and sea areas. Among them, the Blue Hole on Xiyupingyu in Penghu is one of the famous attractions. There are also many other unique sights such as sea erosion caves, sea erosion platforms, and rock pillars.
