White clover, also known as cowgrass or white alfalfa, is a perennial herbaceous plant belonging to the legume family. It thrives in warm, humid climates, is highly adaptable, and is also an excellent nitrogen-fixing plant. Not only does it enrich soil nutrients, but it also helps prevent soil erosion, making it a natural and beneficial choice for grassland maintenance. To enhance the ecological diversity and seasonal beauty of the riverside area, the currently blooming white clover is allowed to reproduce naturally to enrich the soil. After the flowering season, it will be trimmed along with regular mowing operations, forming natural fertilizer.

Additionally, visiting the white clover fields has become more convenient. Visitors can drive to the Greater Taipei Metropolitan Park or take public transportation—simply take the Airport MRT Line, exit at Exit 1A of Sanchong Station (A2), and enjoy the view of this boundless snow-like expanse from the observation platform. Residents are welcome to take a relaxing light trip to the riverside or enjoy a picnic on the grassy fields to soak in the most comfortable and pleasant spring temperatures.
