The 2017 Taoyuan Agricultural Expo was held from April 22 to May 14 next to the Xinyi Weather Station at the Expo base, spanning 23 days. The base covers an area of about 30 hectares and features four major themes: the Plant Landscape Zone, the Multicultural Zone, the Local Life Zone, and the Sustainable Technology Zone. Showcasing Taoyuan’s local characteristics, it presents new agriculture such as organic farming and youth-led agriculture, while linking local industries like green energy and plant factories. It integrates pond culture heritage, community development, and agricultural regeneration mechanisms, offering a unique agricultural expo experience compared to other counties and cities.
