Located in Yunlin, the temple dedicated to the Five Thousand Years Deities was initially built during the Kangxi era as a simple thatched hut. Over time, it has evolved into today’s magnificent temple complex, which now also includes the Five Thousand Years Park and a palatial-style artistic corridor, completing the full architectural vision of the temple grounds. Spanning two hectares, the Five Thousand Years Park features exquisitely crafted landscapes and was built with an investment of 200 million NTD. It is Taiwan’s first and largest temple-themed park. The expansive park resembles a maze and boasts a beautiful scenic magpie bridge, numerous waterfalls of various sizes, and a winding, undulating stone tunnel — making it a perfect destination for visitors to experience traditional temple culture and soak in its spiritual aura. The entire park is open to the public free of charge.
