Kangzhuang Lotus Garden in Guanyin, Taoyuan opens its grounds to multiple giant water lilies for visitor experiences every July to September. Native to the Amazon River basin, giant water lilies can reach a maximum diameter of 3 meters. Their large leaves have buoyancy, and when an acrylic or plastic basin is placed on the leaf of a giant water lily, it can support a weight of about 150 kilograms—an astonishing and fun experience.
