It’s early autumn again, and aside from the long-awaited autumn foliage, the cosmos flower fields in Fukuoka, Japan, are absolutely spectacular every October and well worth a visit. The cosmos fields are one of the four major floral attractions at Nokonoshima Island Park annually. The flower fields are built along the hillside, with the blue ocean as a stunning backdrop!

As one of Nokonoshima’s four major floral displays, the site features around 800,000 cosmos flowers that spread out like a pink carpet, allowing visitors to take photos standing amidst a sea of pink blossoms — truly breathtaking!

Transportation: Take a ferry from Tsunehama Ferry Terminal to Nokonoshima Ferry Terminal (about 10 minutes, 230 yen for adults, 120 yen for children), then transfer to a bus at “Ferry Terminal Mae” stop and get off at “Island Park” (about 13 minutes by bus)
