Dawa Dunsuo is a café created from a renovated traditional rice mill, located just about 50 meters directly across from Jhutian Railway Station in Pingtung. It’s within walking distance. The café blends the charm of the old building with local Pingtung culture, and its special atmosphere makes every corner perfect for photos.

Jhutian in Pingtung has a historical background as a place where locals stored rice, earning it the title "Land of Rice." Originally the Dexing Rice Mill, Dawa Dunsuo was given new life by Dawa and architects after being left unused for 40 years.
The spatial layout of Dawa Dunsuo is quite unique.
Dawa Dunsuo came to be when the urban Daza Dawa Café in Pingtung, due to increased demand for coffee roasting, renovated a rice mill it had previously purchased.
The café space retains many features of the old rice mill.
Dawa Dunsuo centers around lifestyle, allowing visitors to understand that it’s more than just a café. They can feel the ambiance of the space, infused with local culture, which is rooted in regional traditions while creating a new aesthetic of daily life.
