Many tourists who love Korean culture enjoy visiting palaces, royal tombs, and art museums when they come to Korea.To “expand culture in daily life” and make it easy for both locals and foreign visitors to participate in cultural activities,

On Korea’s “Culture Day,” over 2,500 attractions and facilities nationwide offer free entry or discounted tickets, along with expanded evening openings and cultural experience events. For example, the five major palaces designated as cultural heritage sites (Gyeongbokgung, Changdeokgung, Deoksugung, etc.), as well as art museums and museums, offer free admission; performance venues such as theaters, arts centers, and the National Gugak Center provide discounts according to their own policies; sports league tickets are half-price from the Tuesday to Thursday before Culture Day; and cinemas such as CGV, Lotte, and Megabox offer late-night movies for just KRW 5,000 (approximately TWD 150).

The free entry or discounted ticket offers provided on Culture Day are available to both Korean citizens and foreigners.Visitors can check the relevant offers on theCulture Dayofficial website.
