2016 North Coast Sea Music Festival: Wei Ruyun and 831 Take the Stage in Relay

The brisk beat of drums paired with blues-infused rock funk music weaves through the crashing waves against jagged rocks, stirring the soul’s deep yearning for release. The northeast monsoon brings the whispers of autumn, while the interplay of light and shadow crafts a dazzling coastal spectacle. This year’s most spectacular musical extravaganza along the North Coast is set to grandly debut at Huhai Bay in Wanbo Mountain, Keelung.

Planned and organized by the North Coast & Guanyinshan National Scenic Area Administration, Tourism Bureau, Ministry of Transportation and Communications (hereinafter referred to as the North Coast Administration),the “2016 North Coast Sea Music Festival – Huhai Bay Night”will kick off in full splendor on November 26 (Saturday). With a star-studded and powerhouse lineup, the hottest music vibe is absolutely not to be missed—not only featuring hugely popular bands like 831, Wei Ruyun, and international acts such as Ah5ive the Band (Singapore), Forget the G (Macau), and Din Cheung X red fat man (Hong Kong), all of whom have joined the celebration, but also captivating audiences across Taiwan. This Asian music festival boasts an impressive roster, and if you miss it, you’ll have to wait until next year.

On the day of the music festival, in anticipation of Christmas, New Year’s, and the upcoming Lunar New Year holiday season, the North Coast Administration has set up a festive lighting environment around Huhai Bay in Wanbo Mountain ahead of time. Warm lights connect the scenic spots along the North Coast, creating a joyful and romantic ambiance. Strolling hand-in-hand along the Milky Way Path under a starry sky and the rhythm of the tides will be the most romantic and memorable experience of this late autumn.
