In the summer of 2013, in the beautiful town of Zhunan, Miaoli, a “Women’s Story House” was born. Many people thought it was a tourist attraction before visiting, but later discovered it was actually a restaurant — and one that makes you feel like you're in Europe.

The Women’s Story House was originally planned by the owner and her mother, who wanted to open a restaurant where people could feel happiness and be surrounded by warmth. Later, due to her mother's sudden passing, the owner completed the dream on her own. She also hopes that through the operation of the Women’s Story House, she can honor her mother’s memory while allowing guests to share their stories and dreams.

The entire restaurant blends pastoral and palace styles, offering a strong vibe of an exotic small town. From top to bottom, the decor is dominated by light yellow tones, creating a warm and bright atmosphere. The two-story design is especially clever, preventing the dining area from feeling cramped. Inside the venue, there is a small fountain and a real, functional fireplace. The spiral staircase leading to the second floor is made of mosaic tiles, exuding elegance with a hint of nobility, making it hard not to take multiple photos.

As for the ingredients, all are purchased daily, and dishes are cooked to order. The chef particularly recommends the crispy German pork knuckle with Spanish cured sausage. Aside from the crackling skin, the specially made sauerkraut and honey mustard sauce are highlights as well. The portion size is just right, making it a favorite among many female customers. Worth mentioning, if dining in a larger group, you can ask the restaurant to prepare a combination platter.
