Paris Water Taxi Test: Solar-Powered, Floating 60cm Above Water

Recently, the talk of Paris has been the upcoming water taxi test of the “Sea Bubble.”This new solar-powered water vehicle can float on the water’s surface and travel at speeds of up to 30 km/h—an exciting development indeed！

According to the UK’s Daily Mail, the “Sea Bubble” was invented by designer Alain Thébault. The vision is for passengers to book rides via an app in the future, with fares expected to be quite reasonable—at around 500 RMB for a one-way trip. This futuristic taxi will begin testing next year on Paris’s Seine River, with potential future stops in London and Geneva.
