Typhoon No. 22 Mangkhut (international name: MANGKHUT) has intensified into a severe typhoon. Its current center is located at 14.00°N, 141.20°E. The previous movement direction was westward, with a speed of 25 km/h. The central pressure is 925 hPa. Its future path may affect central and southern Taiwan, so vigilance is required.

Typhoon No. 23 Barijat (international name: BARIJAT), a mild typhoon, has its center located at 20.80°N, 118.40°E. It is moving in a southwestwesterly direction at 24 km/h. It may affect areas such as Hong Kong, Hainan Island, and areas south of Guangzhou in the near future. Travelers to these regions should pay close attention to weather developments.

The Central Weather Bureau has lifted the heavy rain alert. Starting Thursday through the weekend, the probability of afternoon rainfall will significantly increase in southern and eastern regions. Travelers should be especially cautious.
