As autumn approaches and you're wondering where to go for a winter getaway, why not consider Southern Taiwan? With its pleasant climate and abundant sunshine, the South Taiwan Autumn-Winter Edition Tourist Passport has just been launched, featuring romantic wedding photo spots—Catholic churches—hoping to offer couples a more romantic domestic location for their wedding photos as we step into the year 100 of the Republic.

On the press conference day, the organizers specially invited husband-and-wife duo David Huang and Grace Koh to promote the beauty of Southern Taiwan.

The theme of this year’s South Taiwan Autumn-Winter Edition Tourist Passport is “Love in Southern Taiwan,” with themed sections including “Wedding Photo Spots,” “Hot Springs & Ancient Trails,” “Rural Life,” “Urban Exploration,” and “100 NT Hot Pot.” These are grouped into the “Amazing 100 for Just 100” promotion, bringing together 133 businesses across eight southern counties and cities with a diverse range of industries. This includes special accommodation offers from five-star hotels such as Chien-lung Shan Hotel, Chengda Guest House, Kaohsiung Huayuan Hotel, Kaohsiung Zhongxin Hotel, and Kaohsiung Formosa Hotel, among others.

Additionally, in terms of dining, the passport includes spots like City Light Corridor, Kaohsiung’s “Mong Kok Hong Kong-Style Restaurant,” Metropolitan Hotel, Daba Hotel, Katie's Teppanyaki, Tainan’s Chijia Danzai Noodles, and Dona’s Coffee & Cake. Thanks to the wide variety of discounts, the passports are often snapped up quickly—the previous 100,000 passports were all given out within just one week, showing the public’s enthusiasm for traveling in Southern Taiwan.

Catholic churches in Southern Taiwan are actually convenient and romantic venues for weddings.

This edition of the South Taiwan Autumn-Winter Tourist Passport can be obtained at highway service areas, the High-Speed Rail stations in Taipei, Taoyuan, Taichung, Tainan, and Zuoying at the Flyer Travel Agency counters, major TRA stations in Taipei, Taichung, and Kaohsiung, as well as at the Tourism Bureau’s Visitor Centers (including those in Taichung, Tainan, and Kaohsiung), the Kaohsiung International Airport Passenger Service Center, and the CTRB offices in Taipei, Taichung, and Kaohsiung.
