With an investment of 50 billion yuan, Galaxy Macau resort grandly opens on May 15

Galaxy Macau has an investment of up to 14.9 billion Hong Kong dollars (approximately 56.3 billion Taiwan dollars) and covers an area of 550,000 square meters. It is the only integrated resort in Macau developed with a vacation-themed concept. Its most distinctive feature is a 52,000-square-meter garden deck, which includes the world’s largest skytop wave pool with waves over 1.5 meters high, spanning 4,000 square meters, as well as an artificial beach made with 350 tons of white sand. Galaxy Macau will also house 50 restaurants and integrate three renowned Asian hotel brands, including 250 suites and 10 overwater villas at Banyan Tree Macau; 500 rooms and suites at The Ritz-Carlton, Macau; and 1,500 rooms and suites at Galaxy Hotel. Together, they will form the flagship hotel project of Galaxy Entertainment Group in Cotai area L9. This also marks the official entry of Banyan Tree Hotels & Resorts and The Okura Prestige Macau (by The Okura Nikko Hotel Management) into the Macau market.
