Taiwanese Fruits and Vegetables Shine on the Global Stage: Zhenjia Organic Produce Represents Taiwan Internationally

Zhenjia Organic Produce, which has long been committed to cultivating fruits and vegetables with care and respect for the earth, represented Taiwan at the 2012 "Fruit Logistica" international fruit and vegetable exhibition in Berlin, Germany. Now in its 23rd edition, Fruit Logistica is a globally scaled event spanning 26 exhibition halls. Zhenjia Organic Produce, based in Chiayi, Taiwan, learned about the German exhibition by chance and applied on its own—becoming the first Taiwanese private entity to participate. With its organic agricultural products, proprietary brand, and refined packaging, the company stepped onto the international stage. At the exhibition, its booth attracted high interest from foreign importers and earned their strong favor.

During the exhibition, Zhenjia Organic Produce’s most representative product was the “Yuanmeng Muskmelon,” grown one fruit per plant. The company independently developed organic materials, used manual pollination, labeled each fruit with the harvest date, and controlled ripening to ensure optimal quality. The melons are greenhouse-cultivated using net houses, receiving meticulous care, regular inspections, and detailed record-keeping through every growth stage—from planting to harvest—ensuring strict quality control from seedling, flowering, to fruiting. The net-like patterns on the rind resemble natural artworks, while the sweet, plump fruits offer a five-star taste experience.

Zhenjia Organic Produce employs three natural organic farming methods: fully organic environments, greenhouse compartmentalized cultivation, and strict quality control. It has obtained APACC and SGS certifications. Beyond its commitment to organic cultivation, the company strengthens its proprietary brand concept and elevates the refinement of agricultural products. This recognition at the German fruit and vegetable exhibition brings honor to Taiwan. Currently, its export markets include Hong Kong, Canada, and Singapore, with plans to expand into Europe.
