HowToTrip Launches Comprehensive B2B Online Booking Service for Compassionate Tickets

Starting now, passengers with disabilities traveling on Mandarin Airlines' domestic flights and using the Cross-Strait Quick Access electronic vouchers can complete seat reservations and ticket issuance through the online booking systems of travel agencies across Taiwan, saving considerable time and streamlining the process. In addition, Mandarin Airlines will also introduce the ability to book compassionate tickets and accompanying compassionate tickets via the 7-Eleven ibon and FamilyMart Famiport ticketing platforms by the end of June, making this feature available across all ticketing channels.

The new B2B online booking function for compassionate tickets by Mandarin Airlines was mainly introduced in consideration of the previous need for passengers with disabilities to either purchase compassionate tickets or accompanying compassionate tickets directly from the airline’s B2C webpage or at the airline counter, as they were unable to have them purchased through a travel agency. With the launch of this B2B online booking system for compassionate tickets, it will be a great benefit for residents in outlying islands and those who have difficulty accessing the internet to book compassionate tickets or accompanying compassionate tickets on Mandarin Airlines. In addition, passengers who have already reserved seats for compassionate tickets or accompanying compassionate tickets can still ask travel agencies to issue the tickets on their behalf, eliminating the need to call the customer service center to report the ticket number.
