The Tourism Bureau estimates11that these 11 popular spots are likely to experience traffic jams:Jinguashi, Jiufen, Nanzhuang, Sun Moon Lake, Xitou, Alishan, Nankunshen, Guanziling, Fo Guang Shan Buddha Memorial Center, Kenting, and Chulu Ranch— areas where traffic is often heavy. The public should be mentally prepared for congestion and are advised to use public transit or consider visiting alternative nearby attractions.
