Xie Rice Cake is located on Zhongzheng Road, the busiest street in Yuanlin Township, Changhua County. With a history of 35 years in the area, its traditional rice cake is well-known locally and is a must-visit spot for tourists coming to Yuanlin. Due to years of operating a small eatery, the owner’s health has been significantly affected. Recently, Xie Rice Cake posted a notice stating, “Our store will cease operations starting June 1st. We’re retiring and want to thank everyone for their support over the years. Wishing you all good health and all the best.” Foodies eager to taste this soon-to-disappear delicacy should hurry to visit before the final day.
