A Hundred Sheep "Baa" Their Way onto the Stage to Celebrate Christmas and New Year’s Eve Together

This year, Christmas in Keelung is going to be very different. The Yangming Marine Culture and Art Museum has specially invited over a hundred little sheep to cross the ocean and come to the museum square to celebrate the holidays and count down to the New Year.

With Christmas approaching, the Yangming Marine Culture and Art Museum has invited over a hundred adorable sheep from Canada’s LunarFest to Taiwan for the “The Sheep Are Here? Really?” exhibition. From December 12 to January 17, 2016, they will replace Santa’s reindeer to spread joy and hope, and happily welcome the New Year. The sheep at the museum were designed by Taiwanese designers. In early 2015, these sheep were exhibited in Canada. During the exhibition, they met the Prime Minister in Ottawa, visited major cultural venues such as the Toronto waterfront and the front plaza of the Vancouver Art Gallery. Now, at the end of the Year of the Sheep, they have returned to Taiwan for another exhibition to light up Keelung Harbor.

During the exhibition, in addition to seeing the adorable sight of a hundred snow-white sheep, the organizers have also set up a special interactive photo area where visitors can take close-up photos with the sheep. Moreover, on December 12, 13, 19, and 20, the museum will also host festive DIY Christmas tree activities, allowing everyone to create their own personalized Christmas tree and celebrate joyfully with the sheep. How many sheep will actually appear at the event? The organizers are keeping it a mystery and inviting everyone to come and count the sheep in person.
