The churros specialty shop "Street Churros," which caused a craze in South Korea, is entering Taiwan. Its first branch is set to open in an alley near Taipei’s National Dr. Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall. Originally a Spanish snack, churros became a must-have street food in Korea, and "Street Churros" is one of the most popular brands there.

Coming from Korea, Street Churros has pioneered creative ways to enjoy churros. In addition to the classic version coated with cinnamon sugar, you can also pair them with ice cream and jam for a refreshing summer treat, or serve them alongside a hot dog topped with cheese and spicy sauce — a popular light meal. In Korea, countless men and women line up just to try a bite. Although the opening date for the Taiwan branch hasn’t been announced yet, it’s already highly anticipated.
