Hyper-realistic 3D sports scene Universiade painted train

With just over a month to go before the Universiade kicks off, the painted train "Universiade Train" on the Songshan-Xindian Line made its debut. Each car is designed with venues for different Universiade sports, allowing visitors to interact and take photos. The handles in the cars also feature little facts about Universiade sports, so you can enjoy the real-life feel of the competitions while learning the rules.

The globally watched international event, the "2017 Taipei Summer Universiade," opened on August 19. To combine urban tourism with the youthful and energetic sports image of the Universiade, the Taipei City Government collaborated with EasyCard Corporation. With the concept of "Universiade competition venue," each car is designed with a sport featuring line-based visual elements, giving passengers the feeling of being right at the Universiade event.

The interior visual design features themes such as track and field running tracks, soccer, baseball, basketball, swimming, and field throwing events, all designed based on real scenes during the competitions. When passengers are sitting in their seats or standing inside the train, friends taking photos just need to find the right angle with their phones to capture interactive moments with the scenes, making it feel immersive. This offers both kids and adults an enjoyable ride experience while also helping to boost tourism interest in the Taipei Universiade.

To provide spectators with a better viewing experience, the Universiade painted train also features specially designed handle boxes with competition rules, fun facts, and interesting anecdotes. Passengers can read the rules during the ride and feel more engaged when watching the matches. The fun facts and anecdotes are sure to bring smiles.

In addition to welcoming the Taipei Universiade this August, creating a city-wide sports atmosphere, and shaping Taipei’s healthy and vibrant image, the Tourism and Communications Bureau also hopes to promote green energy conservation. It invites all visitors to take public transportation to watch the games and jointly support the Taipei Universiade.
