Liuyuan Crystal Museum – Hands-on Workshop to Create a "Parent-Child Cup"

To welcome the four-day Qingming holiday, besides going out for outdoor activities, planning some quieter pursuits can also be a great choice. The Liuyuan Crystal Museum has specially launched the “Hand in Hand” workshop, inviting parents to bring their children to experience glass art creation. After the class, you can enjoy an afternoon tea together using your handcrafted sandblasted pattern teacup set, creating sweet parent-child moments.

We often see all kinds of glassware in daily life, but with a bit of creativity and technique, you can make a unique cup that's exclusively yours. In this special workshop, the Liuyuan Museum will prepare “parent-child cups” of the same shape but different sizes, making the creative process even more fun and meaningful as a keepsake.

Additionally, from April 4 to April 7, and on May 4, May 5, May 11, and May 12, participants who visit the Liuyuan Crystal Museum for the “Hand in Hand” Mother’s Day event will receive a ticket discount and get to admire glass art collections from around the world. Those who interact with the museum’s official page on-site will also receive a free “cute glass stirring rod.”

On April 7 and May 12, “Origami Puzzle Master” Liu Ronglai will offer free lessons at the museum, teaching children how to use recycled materials to fold challenging geometric spheres through playful activities.
