Not just the Rubber Duckie！The banquet favorite “giant roasted suckling pig” appears in Victoria Harbour

Aside from the super-sized “Rubber Duckie” making its way to Hong Kong, a gigantic “roast suckling pig” has also emerged near Victoria Harbour. This “giant pig,” dozens of times larger than an ordinary roast suckling pig, with shiny eyes and belly, lies sprawled on the shore. Hong Kong residents, upon seeing both the Yellow Duck and this “roast pig,” couldn’t help but joke, “With a duck and a pig, Hong Kong truly is a food capital!”

The oversized “roast suckling pig” has appeared in Victoria Harbour, drawing crowds of curious onlookers just like the Yellow Duck. This roast pig is part of the contemporary art exhibition “M+ Performing: Inflatable!” featuring works by renowned Hong Kong and international artists. It draws inspiration from everyday objects, which are enlarged to surreal proportions through inflation, transforming familiar items into something strange yet surprisingly tangible. Visitors can touch and feel the uniqueness of these creations.

The giant “roast suckling pig” and the Yellow Duck will be on display until June 9. Travelers visiting Hong Kong during this period are encouraged to head to Victoria Harbour to experience the surprising and awe-inspiring sight of everyday objects blown up to colossal sizes.
