Summer is all about ice cream!\nTainan Regent Hotel has teamed up with Ice Monster this summer to bring some cool relief to the southern crowd. In addition to each offering three classic signature ice treats, they will also collaborate under the leadership of French patisserie chef Laurent to create innovative co-branded ice desserts. From now until September 3, these treats will be available only 3 days a week (Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays), sold at the shaved ice bar set up by the outdoor pool on the fourth floor of Tainan Regent Hotel.

Tainan Regent Hotel’s French executive pastry chef Delcourt Laurent personally developed three low-calorie, creative ice desserts for this pop-up event, incorporating fruits and local ingredients. They are “Lychee Rose Raspberry Snow,” “Cucumber Yogurt Snow,” and “Wolfberry Pineapple Snow.” Ice Monster has also brought three of its classic ice desserts to southern Taiwan: “Fresh Mango Cotton Candy,” “Bubble Tea Cotton Candy,” and “Almond Mixed Cotton Candy.” Each dessert is priced at a minimum of NT$200.

In addition, Tainan Regent Hotel and Ice Monster have jointly launched the “Pineapple, Starfruit, and Raspberry Shaved Ice Dessert.” For its first venture into southern Taiwan, Ice Monster selected seasonal fruits pineapple and starfruit, using its exclusive “cotton candy” production method. The dessert is topped with locally sourced starfruit preserves chosen by the hotel’s pastry chef, layered with kudzu noodles chilled in fresh raspberry syrup, and finished with raspberry sauce and Chef Laurent’s homemade vanilla ice cream. It is priced at NT$220.
