The globally renowned booking website Agoda.com recently released a ranking of the “Top 8 Highest-Rated Parks and Green Spaces in Asia.” Among them, Taiwan’s Taroko National Park in Hualien secured second place with an impressive average score of 4.39, trailing only South Korea’s Hallasan Mountain on Jeju Island.

Located on Taiwan’s east coast and easily accessible by train, Hualien’s Taroko National Park is far from the hustle and bustle of the city. Spanning over 90,000 hectares, the park features waterfalls, mountain peaks, campgrounds, and hiking trails. Its most iconic attraction is the marble canyon and limestone cliffs with depths exceeding 1,000 meters.
