Winter has arrived, heralding the approach of strawberry season！ "Ice Field GariGari," located in Taichung, opened this April and has won the hearts of many young trendsetters with its fresh style. In response to strawberry season, the shop has launched Strawberry Matcha Scones and Strawberry Cheese Cake Ice ahead of time—strawberry lovers, get ready to rush over！

Nestled in a quiet alley in Qimei, Taichung, "Ice Field GariGari" launched seasonal limited strawberry scones and ice desserts on December 1. Freshly sliced strawberries and custard are sandwiched inside plain scones, then drizzled with Komatsu-en matcha sauce. The sweet-tart flavor of the strawberries blends seamlessly with the matcha and custard, enhancing the overall taste profile. The rich matcha sauce slowly flows down, making it hard to resist just by looking at it. The custard strawberry matcha scones come with hot black tea, priced at NT$160 per serving.

Winter in Taichung isn’t that cold, and "Ice Field GariGari," known for selling ice desserts, also offers a seasonal limited Strawberry Cheese Cake Ice. Shaved ice is topped with hand-made strawberry jam, a whipped cream made from Isigny cream, adorned with six bright red, plump strawberries, and surrounded by a ring of cheese cake at the base—satisfying both strawberry and cheese lovers in one go. Priced at NT$200 per serving.

The shop uses strawberries sourced from Dahu, Miaoli. Since they need to be refrigerated to maintain freshness, only about 50 servings are available daily. As for how long the strawberry-limited items will be offered, the shop says it will depend on the supply quality from the producers.
