Eurostar’s new high-speed trains hit 320 km/h, connecting the UK, France, Belgium, and the Netherlands!

Actually, when traveling between European cities, budget airlines are an option, but many people also try Europe’s high-speed rail—“Eurostar.” Accordingto CNN, Eurostar has unveiled its latest train model, the “e320,” which will officially enter service in 2015. The name comes from its top speed of 320 kilometers per hour.

This year also marks Eurostar’s 20th anniversary, and it has already served 1.5 million customers. Eurostar primarily operates between the UK (London), France (Paris), and Belgium (Brussels), but new services added in 2015 and 2016 include direct routes to Provence and Amsterdam.

“The train features a sleek, white design with rounded edges, making it very stylish,” said Eurostar CEO Nicolas Petrovic. This new train, designed by the Italian company Pininfarina, offers more spacious interiors—20% more than the older models—making it more accessible for wheelchair users, and most importantly, it provides WiFi.

Petrovic is currently focused on Eurostar’s “expansion plan,” aiming to extend the route network to other cities in Belgium and the Netherlands in the future.
