Cartoon-themed restaurants are all the rage — a Miffy-themed café is also set to open

There are so many cartoon-themed restaurants lately. For instance, the newly opened Snoopy-themed restaurant, Charlie Brown Café, immediately drew crowds, with its reservation line being incredibly hard to get through. Meanwhile, the yet-to-open Hello Kitty hotpot restaurant has also caught the attention of fans. This time, on the last day of the Qingming holiday, Badouyao was cooling off at Zhonghe Globe Department Store when they spotted a Miffy Café under renovation on the second floor. Now, Miffy fans can proudly say, “We Miffy fans finally have our own themed café too!”

Badouyao tried calling Zhonghe Globe Department Store to inquire about the opening date, but the mall said it’s still under renovation and the opening time has not been confirmed. The new outlet is located in the atrium, and it’s unclear how it will be presented — hopefully it won’t just feature Miffy-shaped desserts.

Zhonghe Globe Department Store has been continuously adding new food outlets lately. In addition to Menya Musashi Niten, there will soon be a LEGO-themed café and Shabushabu Tei Japanese pork cutlet restaurant joining the lineup.
