This pizzeria was recommended by a friend who lives in Shilin. They said the pizzas here are packed with generous, delicious toppings, and quite a few foreigners come to dine here. Since we’d been eating Chinese food nonstop at recent gatherings and were getting a bit tired of it XD, we decided to give this place a try.

The shop is located on Deheng East Road in Tianmu, on the first floor of a newly built gray building. You can tell from the name that it’s a Brazilian-style pizza place.

As soon as we walked in, we saw a table of foreigners dining—no surprise, it really is a pizza spot that appeals to international visitors.

Even before ordering, we spotted pizzas being made, and they looked loaded with cheese.

Time to order. There are over twenty types of pizzas here, priced between NT$300 and NT$600. What’s special is that one pizza can combine two flavors, with the price based on the more expensive one. So if you want a combo, it’s best to choose two flavors with similar prices. Since there were five of us, we debated whether to get two or three pizzas, but ultimately decided on two, each with two flavors.

Just in case we didn’t get full, we also ordered some Brazilian savory snacks. For drinks, there were three options for unlimited refills: Coke, Sprite, and lemon black tea. Four of us chose these three (60 NT$ for all-you-can-drink XD).

Another friend opted for a Brazilian special lemonade.

The drinks arrived. Old K, of course, went for Coke. According to the friend who had the Brazilian special lemonade, it’s lemon juice mixed with coconut milk—and it’s really tasty. Old K, not brave enough for coconut milk, stuck with Coke XD.

Curry Chicken & Tuna Pizza (380 NT$)
The first pizza arrived, and you can clearly see tuna on top and curry chicken on the bottom.

Old K tried the tuna flavor first—goodness, there’s so much topping here it’s hard to lift a slice. They really don’t skimp on the cheese. It’s super rich, and paired with the generous tuna filling, it’s pretty good. The most unique part is the crust—where there’s filling, it has a nice chew, but the outer edges are slightly hard and crisp, like a cookie, though not overly so. It’s not a type of pizza we often come across.

Now, let’s watch a classmate demonstrate how to eat the curry chicken side. With just a gentle pull, the cheese stretches so long—it’s a clear sign it’s going to be delicious. The curry flavor is fairly strong, and it pairs well with the tender, non-dry chicken breast. Old K actually prefers the curry chicken flavor because tuna is more common and not as special XD.

Samba & Kyle’s Pizza (480 NT$)
The other pizza had two flavor combos we’d never even heard of XD—the top is Samba style, the bottom is Kyle’s. Both are packed with toppings, which explains the higher price. Aside from our chosen Samba flavor, there’s also a Deluxe Samba. The only difference is the meat: Samba has beef slices, while Deluxe Samba upgrades to steak and costs an extra NT$120. After thinking it over, we decided to save some money XD.

Look at how overloaded the toppings and cheese are—this is next level.

Kyle’s pizza comes with beef, bacon, sausage, mushrooms, boiled eggs, and more. Every bite is bursting with fillings—it’s super satisfying. That yellow sauce? Old K couldn’t quite identify it, but it goes really well with all the ingredients. It was actually the most unique and favorite flavor of the day.

The Samba topping is somewhat similar to Kyle’s, more of a mix-and-match style, and it’s also pretty good—but the Kyle’s version with the yellow sauce has a more distinctive taste. After the two pizzas, we were actually pretty full XD. Glad we didn’t go for three. Next up were the desserts.

Braised Chicken Pie (80 NT$), Braised Shrimp Pie (80 NT$)
On the left is the chicken pie, on the right is the shrimp pie.

But clumsy Old K managed to cut the braised chicken pie pretty badly XD. The crust is super crispy and has a layered texture—it’s really delicious. The chicken filling tastes great too, like juicy shredded chicken in a rich sauce. Everyone loved it.

Old K only cut a small piece of the braised shrimp pie. Compared to the chicken one, it felt a bit empty. The crust is a bit harder, and there’s noticeably less filling. Old K thought it was okay XD.

Brazilian Crispy Fried Empanada – Beef Flavor (50 NT$ each)
When this arrived, we were all surprised—it’s actually quite big. We thought it wouldn’t be that large based on the photo, which is why Old K only ordered two XD, figuring what could you get for 50 NT$ each.

Look at the size—it’s bigger than half a face XD.

Inside is beef shreds, and the seasoning is really tasty. The crust is crispy outside with a bit of chew inside, which suits Old K’s taste. But since we were really stuffed, we ended up taking one home XD.
