Taoyuan’s annual “Taoyuan Colorful Calla Lily Festival” is a major floral event of the year. This year, affected by COVID-19 and in line with epidemic prevention policies, as well as considerations regarding public welfare and health measures, it has been announced that all related festival activities will be cancelled.

However, visitors can still head to Dayuan Xihai Leisure Agriculture Area to admire the colorful calla lilies. 58,000 colorful calla lilies and 20,000 fragrant lilies will continue to bloom unaffected, with late March being the best viewing period. Visitors can still enjoy the beautiful flower seas on-site.

Last year’s Colorful Calla Lily Festival, which attracted one million visitors, not only featured a vast 5-hectare sea of flowers, but also included specially designed installations themed around weddings from various countries. These large-scale three-dimensional installations combined the calla lily flower seas with DIY experiences, offering in-depth agricultural experience activities.
