Director Andy Muschietti reunites both the young and adult versions of the Losers' Club as they return to their hometown of Derry 27 years later to face Pennywise the Clown. The trailer begins with Beverly (Jessica Chastain) returning to her childhood home in Derry, only to discover that Pennywise was never truly destroyed — he’s back after 27 years, just as the town’s dark history repeats itself, with evil forces awakening every 27 years. The now-grown Losers reunite after years apart to bravely confront Pennywise once more.

Olavi, a businessman living in Helsinki, always prioritized art and work over everything—even to the detriment of his family and loved ones. Before retiring, at an auction, a dusty painting unexpectedly caught Olavi’s attention. With keen eyes, he realized that the piece was likely by the Russian realist master Ilya Repin. However, since the painting bore no signature and the auction catalog provided little information, its price remained low and it attracted little interest. Sensing an opportunity, Olavi decided to make one final deal before retirement. If he could prove the painting was indeed an authentic Repin, it would be worth a fortune, allowing him to cash in big time.
