I recently discovered this extremely popular ice cream shop that suddenly appeared in the Shuanghe area, called Mr. Snow Tofu. It seems to be a combination of tofu and frozen treats, and also has a fun play on the English word “chef.”
I arrived in the evening only to find an overwhelmingly crowded place. There were no seats available at all, and even if you managed to get a chance to order, many popular items were already sold out. Though the staff was busy, the female servers were all smiling, which made me start planning a quick visit the next day.
(Unsuccessful evening visit)

The next day, during a break, I returned to Sihao Park. The line was still long, but I got lucky and found an empty table. This time, the male server seemed less patient than the one the night before—but no matter, I was there for my must-orders.
For hot food, I chose the Duck Blood Tofu Pot (NT$60)
For dessert, I went with the No. 18 Milk Tea Snowflake Ice (NT$70)
The pricing was reasonable.

Service was fast—the tofu pot arrived quickly. The duck blood was tender, instantly perking me up. The broth lacked depth at first taste, which was slightly disappointing. But the spice level was just right, making me sweat profusely—I went through half a pack of napkins in no time. The sourness was pleasant though, stimulating my appetite. The star of the dish, the stinky tofu, was neatly sliced into rectangular strips. The holes inside were small and not very dense, and the smell wasn’t as pungent as I’d hoped—so it’s not my personal favorite—but overall it was still quite enjoyable.

(The stinky tofu was a bit lacking in flavor)

Then came the ice dessert, a snowflake ice that was meticulously made. The tea aroma was subtle rather than strong, and the ice crystals were refined thanks to the milk. The black sugar pearls on the side were unexpectedly excellent, exceeding average standards. Enjoying the cool sweetness, then drizzling condensed milk on top added another layer of flavor.
(The No. 18 Milk Tea is super popular—you might not get it if you come in the evening)

(Overall, it was really good)

(At the owner’s request, I signed my name)

No wonder the business is booming—this intersection near Sihao Park is getting livelier by the day.
