"Swan" Approaches: Taiwan Cancels All Ship and Flight Services (Updates Ongoing)

Typhoon Swan (No. 15) is moving northward along the eastern coast of Taiwan, with the Bashi Channel and the southeastern waters of Taiwan entering the maritime warning zone. Some flights to and from outlying islands have been suspended. ETtoday EBC News Cloud has compiled the following information on canceled ship and flight services:

Su’ao–Hualien Round-Trip
The Lina Ferry’s originally scheduled round-trip services between Su’ao and Hualien on August 21, 22, and 23, 2015, have been canceled due to Typhoon Swan. Passengers who have already purchased tickets can contact the original ticketing office to change their travel dates or request a full refund without any cancellation fees.

Taitung Fugang–Lanyu Round-Trip
The Fugang–Lanyu route is expected to be suspended until August 22; the Houpihu–Lanyu route is expected to be suspended until August 23.

Kaohsiung–Makung Round-Trip
On August 23, the 9:00 AM flight from Kaohsiung to Makung and the 4:00 PM flight from Makung to Kaohsiung have been canceled.

Donggang–Little Liuqiu
On August 22, Ryuxing (public ferry) has canceled all 10 daily sailings, the Dongliu Line Public Passenger Ship Joint Operation Office has canceled all 16 daily sailings, and Taifu International Shipping Co., Ltd. has canceled all 12 daily sailings.
On August 23, Ryuxing (public ferry) has canceled all 10 daily sailings, the Dongliu Line Public Passenger Ship Joint Operation Office has canceled all 16 daily sailings, and Taifu International Shipping Co., Ltd. has canceled all 12 daily sailings.

Budai–Makung Round-Trip
Due to Typhoon Swan, all domestic fixed-route passenger ferry services between Budai and Makung on August 22, 2015 (Year 104), have been canceled.
