洞内景色既有凝固的石瀑布，又有定格的石梯田，高低错落，令人叹为观止，与洞外五里冲水库相映成趣，为蒙自理想的旅游胜地。红河州的雨季多集中在5-10月， 11月下旬至次年的1、2月为霜期。
