流莺谷

流莺谷

　　流莺谷在湖南绥宁黄桑上堡古国南，乌鸡山峰北，两峰岭之间。谷中山鸟颇多，其声有婉转如莺者，常于幽谷深林中啼鸣，故称流莺谷。谷中有湘黔古道蜿蜒蛇形，甚陡。原为青石石板铺就，宽约五尺。今因废置无用，古道已多处毁坏，更为崎岖难行。谷内林深木秀,郁郁葱葱；谷底溪洄涧环，曲曲折折。

　　人迹罕至，人烟旷绝，幽深悄然，静若太古，自然非人间常景可比。
